throughways is a project to map, imagine, and name a safer, more connective walk/wheel network in calgary and the bow watershed.

1. TO MAP: logging and imagining a connective network of walking/wheeling infrastructure.
2. TO LEARN: defining the network as distinct from car-oriented streets.
3. TO ADVOCATE: providing maps that illustrate both current connectivity, and gaps/issues in the network.
4. TO NAVIGATE: marking out throughways with real-life wayfinding.
